Kansas City Steak Company is a family owned business manufacturing and marketing premium beef, seafood, poultry, home delivery and food service. It had been founded during Great Depression by Giovanni Scuavuzzo. He (Giovanni Scuavuzzo) had opened "S&S Meat Company" butcher shop in the year 1932 with his sons - Carlo, Santo and Edward. The retail outlet had operated for at least 50 years. The family had decided to concentrate on foodservice entirely in 1980 and began delivery service to restaurants and hotels.
