My stay at the Sturgeon Bay, Wis. facility was fine, my problem came when I received my credit card bill. I had been charges an additional room, another guest was put on my account. When I contacted the motel with the problem I was told I would have to contact the other guest to get it resolved. I have no idea even what state they live in. This occured in June and I have yet to get it resolved. I've made four calls to the motel, the manager refuses to talk with me however the gal at the front desk seems nice enough. I think she is trying to get something done but the manager obviously lack motivation to fix my problem. Any help from the Corp. office would be appeciated.
I attempted to reserve a room for 2 nights at the Best Western PLUS in Hannibal, Missouri for August 2nd to the 4th but both employee's I spoke with, Ashley the reservations and Grace,the manager were so unprofessional and rude that I did not continue with my transaction. I made reservations with Holiday Inn Express and the service I received was excellent. I an attending a car show on the above dates along with several other cars owners. A four star for the room condition every day and the food service in the main dining room. A 2 star for the two day shift female snots at the front desk. One spoke bad English and had bad communicating skills which led to a argument about room charges. We also requested a ground floor because of our 4 year old and she said there were none available which was a lie since the hotel has NO FIRST FLOOR and she suggested keeping the door closed to the balcony.The other spoke poorly about the room service personnel loud enough for us to hear... There was a complaint in a much earlier review about this same hotel in Disney Buena Vista concerning electrical outlets loose and phone jacks broken.. They still are ...All those hotels worldwide and you can't afford 85 cent outlets and $2.00 phone line. I use a breathing machine for sleeping and it would stop working just about every night. I would have reported it to the desk, but we had asked for other services from day shift and never received a response. Also the man working the sandwich area kept disappearing from his work area and we and others couldn't get any service due to his absence. Even the day shift Chef apologized for him missing. I had stayed at your austin Airport Inn & Suite What a wonderful place to stay. Everyone was so accommodating. Rooms so clean. Loved the pool, but the only request I would like that a clock would be placed at the poo side area. So a person will know how long they where in the pool. I would stay here again.. Thank too all who works there.
Stayed at Best Western Plus in Sedona, Az. You have 110 rooms there and one puny washer and dryer. You could wash one handkerchief and one sock. How pathetic. Had wonderful rooms with fantastic views. Everything was perfect except for your laundry facilities, lousy coffee and room 107 had a faint smell of tobacco smoke.
I have worked at the Best Western in Dartmouth Burnside. I must say the only staff that are professional and appropriate are the three ladies from Cuba :Isaebell Jeanette, I found that the manager Ron was not sympathetic and not a good listener. It seems that Highfield an unpleasant part of Dartmouth have claimed the place. They have most of their own working there. A class lady would have a difficult time there and I hope that they are respectful to the three ladies that I have mentioned. I did not enjoy working there except with those three ladies the later one I do not know how to spell her name. one supervisor Tanya would come in drunk so some of the younger room attendants would repeat that behaviour and make the work load more for the none foolish ones. I WOULD LIKE TO WRITE TO YOU ABOUT YOUR GM AT THE EAGLE RIVER WI BEST WETERN. GM ISN'T VERY SOCIABLE. IN DEC SHE STATED THAT SHE WAS HAPPY THERE WASN'T MUCH SNOW BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH SNOWBILE PEOPLE WHICH I AM ONE AND I OVER HEAR SAID THIS. BREAKFEAST WASN'T THE BEST I HAD. BREAD AND BAGELS TASTED BAD BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO SAID ANYTHING. CALL AT MIDNIGHT AND ASK IF THEY HAD ROOM FOR SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY AND THE GUY COULDN'T ASWER MY QUETION AND WAS ON HOLD FOR 20 MIN AND THEN I HUNG UP AND CALL DAY INN AND GOT RIGHT THROUGH AND STAY THERE.
