This is in regards to the Charlotte Russe franchise. I am a plus size women who shopped with Charlotte Russe faithfully. Then a while back in the Columbiana center shopping mall here in columbia SC the location went out of business. To my surprise business was reopen and guess what section was no longer in the store, THE PLUS SIZE SECTION. Its sad enough that the sections are either small or located in the back corner of the store, sometimes both of these descriptions but now youre not even trying to show some kind equality amongst sizes. Its sad that its already hard to find place to shop and now the few places that gave a little support are now turning their backs on us. Dont brand yourself with body positivity then do things like this that contradict it. You have always had my support but because of the actions that have taken place, really just bothered me. 3 Stars- quality clothes but franchise/business change sucks
Id like to speak with someone on behalf of an associate going into my fitting room and stealing cash out of my purse and absolutely nothing was done about it. If i dont receive justice from your company Im getting a lawyer involved considering I work for a law firm. Im very hurt, betrayed, and angry at this situation. Please contact me before I have to go further into this and get the law involved. Thank you.
I put in an application and your location in roanoke va. I was called a week later to come in for an interview. But I was out of town at girls state (which is a honorable camp). They told me to call them the following week when I was back in town to set up an interview. But when I called they told me all the positions were already filled. I don't think that very profession or equal opportunity.
I just returned home from my local CR in White Plains, NY and I was disgusted by the lack of professionalism by the store manager (possibly assistant manager) Flora. I was in the jewelery section looking at different pieces when something caught my eye. I proceeded to try it on only to hear Flora call over the radio to someone in the back to check the cameras because "over here is very hot" as she looked at me. As someone who has retail experience I understand the great importance of loss prevention and I do not wrong her for wanting to be vigilant of shoplifters. HOWEVER, I DO NOT understand why she handled the situation in such a tasteless manner. Naturally, the other costumers turned and looked my way and I for a brief moment was embarrased as if I had done something wrong. I think with retail experience or not, the sensable thing to do would be to ask if I need any help or go to the back and tell an employee to watch me without calling it over the walkie. Furthermore, I have no interest in returning to CR. Please do your company a favor and train your people better on how to handle possbible shoplifters. I will be calling this in as well.
I visited the store Sunday at approx. 3:45 to purchase shoes, after spending $60 in Charlotte Russe the day before I returned bc I noticed that had a rack with shoes for $15 the shoe rep assisted me and picked out a pair of shoes I LOVED them, however when I got to the registrator they rung up for $40, they then told me to go back and pick another one so I did..I waited in line to buy another pair, and got to the registrator again and that pair was $32. I begin to get frustrated bc I notice that if there is 2-3 shoe reps why are there so many shoes in the wrong spot..I then did it AGAIN and the next pair was $35...by this point I was beyond upset I left the store empty handed, and late for work. I spend a lot of money in this store and I can not believe the are referring people to shoes that they are not familiar with the
To whom it may concern: I want to report a disappointment and complaint from shopping at one of your stores located in Brandon Mall, store # 241, date: 10/26/14, time: 4:15pm. First of all, I have shopped at other franchise stores in Chicago, since Charlotte Russe first opened. I have 4 daughters and 1 niece who have also shopped here. However, today, was ultimately the worst experience I've had shopping at the Brandon Mall store #241. Today, I was shopping for my 13 year old daughter. We purchased Halloween items and clothing. The Halloween items were marked 30% off, since holiday is near, we were happy to choose items for my daughters costume. Upon transaction, Steve, the cashier associate, answered my question if they honored military discounts. He replied yes. After the transaction was totaled, he gave the receipt and took our money, placed it in the cash register while I pointed out the charge was incorrect. I told Steve, that the items were not discounted, as advertised in store. His demeanor became unprofessional, replied "well it didn't ring up that way", started to check and said "shit" then, asked his manager to confirm. She replied yes it is. He started to curse again and was upset that he had to make a return item transaction and struggled to figure out the difference. He said one of the items is not discounted at 30% and someone just placed it there accidentally. I told him the entire stock under 30% discount was for purchase and stocked appropriately. I then asked another associate to flag down the store manager, she seemed apprehensive. So I approached the store manager. In that moment, he called me a "dumb ass" in front of my 13 year daughter! How insulting! He was the one who initiated a foul mood, he was not friendly and kept cussing! The manager apologized and handled the transaction professionally, as I asked her why he was treating us horribly and we shouldn't be treated rudely. After all, we are the customers, we were purchasing items at this store. Managed told Steve to calm down. He just huffed and puff. I surely don't appreciate being treated like that, nor have my daughter be exposed to such a vulgar person. This man is explosive and should be fired! Who knows what kind of harm he could do with this unacceptable behavior! I really do hope further action be taken upon this associate. Please do investigate. I do not want any retaliation made to me or my daughter from this unstable associate! Sherry Rosario (813) 465-0310
