Dealing with the people at Walgreens is probably the most miserable encounter you can have. There is no customer service it does not exist in the United States any longer. They are disrespectful discourteous nasty and I would never go through a wall greens pharmacy again. Thank God for express scripts! Walgreens doesn’t give a damn about its customers! I’m specifically talking about the one in Howell New Jersey.

I am an EX Walgreen's customer. I just saw their commercial touting their big-heartedness in providing vaccines for children in Third World countries for every shop that is purchased at one of their locations. Oh, how LOVELY that they are SO concerned with the health of children! How does this square with the AT LEAST, MAYBE MORE, THAN $1 MILLION that they donate EACH YEAR to the pro-abortion Susan G Komen Race For the Cure, which re-donates to PLANNED PARENTHOOD, THE LARGEST ABORTION PROVIDER IN THE WORLD! Taking care of kids' health on one hand, and helping to kill them on the other. Disgusting! I am very happy with CVS!

I have a complain more than anything, I'm getting so upset with the Walgreen's in Paterson on E.18th Street the lines are long the wait is long and I came home from the hospital had a prescription dropped off Thursday night and returned Friday morning and to be told it wasn't filled because they couldn't read the prescription so now I have to wait another day for my blood pressure medicine? I was hospitalized for a B/P of 243/100 and to delay my meds when there is CLEARLY a DOCTOR'S NAME ON THE SCRIPT is UNEXCEPTABLE! When Mike was operating the Walgreens on E.18th Street in Paterson there where no lines, meds were filled and if it wasn't he called the doctor to ask questions about the medicine or prescription, if this store doesn't shape up and change I will take my business elsewhere. I would hate to leave but there are to many things that are not making me happy with the pharmacy at this location. Thank You Mrs. Tamra L Ricks-Pough

I have scripts at Walgreens in Indianapolis - 10th St. & Arlington and have always been happy with the service. However, if Walgreen's moves its corporate offices to Switzerland to avoid US taxes. I will promptly take my business elsewhere!

7/28/2013, After reviewing the Walgreen's ad this morning I went to the closet store to me (SW 112Ave and SW 232 St. Miami, FL)to get the Rain Gear 25% off (Women's Sack-It Jacket, and West Loop Rain Boots. I entered the store and look around, but could not find the advertised items. I found a clerk and asked her where I could located these items. Her answer, "We don't have them." I asked where I might find them and her answer was maybe at one of the larger store. I went to another Walgreen located on Old Cutler Road in Cutler Bay, Fl.. Once I entered the store I found a clerk in the comestic section and she and another gentlemen told me that they didn't have them either. I really think that a corporate office should have a better handle on the merchandise that is advertised and it's timely distributions to the store the where the merchandise will be advertised. It is quite costly for me to go to all the nearby Walgreens to see if this merchandise is available or better yet, even in there store. This is not the first time that I have tried to purchase merchandise that Walgreen's has advertised in their Sunday flyer only to be told "WE DO NOT HAVE IT". Is this anyway to run a business. I also think that it is unheard of, in this day and age, that this company does not that a email contact for the public to use. Just about all the other companies that I have any dealing with, have an email address contact person, who will respond back. Walgreen's need to get it together and implement a email contact for the public to use and assign an employee to review these emails daily. I will be calling the HD tomorrow morning.

I love Walgreens. Everytime I go there to pick up my medication, I really feel like I'm at the corner of happy and healthy. I am worth about $57 million so I kind of want to just buy the whole place. Thanks for being awesome, Walgreens!

I am writing to corporate about this, but found this site and thought I may find others who feel the same way. For the past 4 years, I have been part of Walgreen's Pharmacy program in which I receive a three-month supply of my medication for $12.00. However, since I turned 65 Walgreen's no longer honors that program and I must pay $27.55 for a three month supply and they bill my Medicare RX plan another $27. My question to Corporate is: Why? Why were you able to sell this script at $12.00/3 month and now, with Medicare, you won't. It's not only Walgreens that can't honor this special pricing...it's all the drug stores. They say it's Medicare's rules. I feel a scam there somewhere... And let's not forget, people, at the end of the day, we pay for this.

Lie, deceit, fiction over fact – just be honest, even “I don’t know,” is a better answer. On June 26, 2013 I called in for filling of my prescription (new script left with the Pharmacy) for a controlled prescription drug that was last filled on June 1, 2013. I had already verified with my insurance carrier it could be filed within the five day window and my increased quantity is pre-approved, Walgreens is informed. On June 27, 2013 at about 1600 (4:00) I go in to get my meds and am told there is only a 2 day window and I must wait another day. When I asked when this started and why the Pharmacist said it was because of the DEA. I called the DEA and spoke with Mary. There is no federal regulation that covers this situation and a 2-day window seems rather strict. But, to be safe, I was advised to be sure some new state law or policy is not binding. I called the OSBI and they do not handle. I was referred to the Oklahoma Pharmaceutical Association and they said there is no state law, policy, or recommendation that binds pharmacies to withhold controlled meds to within a 2-day window. Their representative, Gary also thought the 2-day window was a little strict. I was then told by the Pharmacist that it is company policy. I asked who I can talk to with Walgreens and he replied that there is no one to talk to because of the DEA. I left the Pharmacy and finally got a number to contact Walgreens and was not allowed to talk to an executive. I went through the same story. Now I am told someone from corporate will call me back within 48 hours, case # 4493905. Just a 2-day window to get a prescription is ridiculous customer service – there is NO Federal Law and NO Oklahoma State Law establishing the 2-day window. I detest being lied to as a customer.

In my dealings with Walgreen's at 3631 Central Ave., Hot Springs, AR. there are two employees in the pharmacy who are particularly note worthy. Kim Harris and Debbie Turner are very professional, courteous and helpful with a cheerful attitude and voice. In this time when shopping can bring us into contact with people who haven't a clue, it is refreshing to find people like these. Thank you, Richard G. Pate
