Tried to get repair for over a week. Charter failed to keep appointment. Got Frustrated with some repeatedly told them to close my account & still have service.
They informed me they could remove some movie channels off my bill to save me money. 3 Months later extra charges have not been removed and they tell me they cant remove them because of some Automatic Contract Renewal that i did Not sign was filled out without my permission. This company has Horrible internet that drops all the time, Phone cuts out, and TV lags. They have spent 3 months trying to fix it and i had to fight them to get a credit for the 2 months i didnt work and now they tell me they cant remove extra things added to my bill without my permission. I will never use them again and Suggest no one else use them as well. on a Scale of 1-10 for service and Customer service i give them a -1
WE PAY OVER $200 A MONTH FOR OUR 3 BUNDLED SERVICES, AND NOW WE'RE BEING BILLED FOR BOGUS ON DEMAND MOVIES WE HAVEN'T EVEN RENTED FOR THE PAST 3 MONTHS! THIS MONTH WE WERE BILLED FOR 3 MOVIES @ $39.94! I SPOKE WITH THE 'NO' CUST SVC REP, CARE ESCALATION PERSON, AND SUPERVISOR. END RESULT IS THEY BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR AND SAID SOMEONE HAD TO RENT THEM. IT'S JUST MYSELF AND MY HUSBAND, NO ONE ELSE IN THE HOUSE AND THEY INSIST WE/SOMEONE RENTED THEM. THEY CAN TAKE THEIR EQUIPMENT AND THEIR 'NO CUSTOMER SVC TEAM' AND SCREW SOMEONE ELSE. I'M THROUGH!
We have been trying for months to have Charter innstalled in our home. We live in rural Smithfield, Virginia and have very limited vendors to provide quality service. We are presently using an air card because your business team in this area will not install the cable to provide the service. Your service is in our area and runs down the opposite side of the road that we live on. Initially we were told that you would charge us the installation fee of $1300.00 to run the cable down the road to our house. That seemed odd that we would have to pay this person that amount of money for your company to make money to provide our service. Other people on our side of the road would hook up to Charter. Instead he was very rude and said if we wanted the service pay for it!! In this day and time cable and internet service are one of the items that people cut out to svae money. Your company and Hughes Net are the only providers in this area. Verizon is coming but they are still installing cable. I would think you would be more customer serving knowing that a major competitor is breathing down you neck in this area. It is hard for me to believe that your corporate mission supports this total lack of customer service. Since I am a Radiology Manager, I felt compelled to inform the Corporate offices of your field service lack of customer service. This process will ultimately hurt your business in this area. if you have a choice, don't make it Charter
I moved my Charter services three week ago from a rental to a new home. The installation was done poorly and created a safety hazard for my home. The worst being a basement window is partly blocked by their cable, making it difficult to exit the window in an emergency. I have been working for 3 weeks to get a technician to my home while I am home to supervise the fixes. Today a technician came by my home while I was not home, against my request and therefore trespassing on my property. He fixed one of the many problems I reported. He then stated my home was safe and left behind the trash left behind by the previous technician. I spent more than an hour on the phone with a supervisor, Brian C15, and technician supervisor Keith 8747 they was unable/willing to provide service to my today. Based on available schedule I have to wait until next Friday to have technician come to my home. Charter has failed me yet again. Scheduling 7 days in advance does not mean you will get the service you request. 3 weeks with a safety problems, lies about when a technician will arrive and poor costumer service, supervisors with excuses but no results, is all that I have experienced. It’s too bad that I have to switch to AT&T with slower speeds to have a home that is safe from Charter's mess. I like have a fast Internet connection, but not at the safety risk to my children and their physical wellbeing. If you are moving your service I cannot recommend Charter.
