Firmin Rene Desloge (Desloge-family name) first started a smelting furnace in 1824 as extension of his family business dealing with lead and related goods. Over time, his sons added many new companies including Bogy Lead Mining Company and St. Francais Mining Company organizing a new company called Consolidated Corporate Office in St. Louis, Missouri in 1888. Their services and products include lead mining, smelting with businesses worldwide. Presently its management includes close family members and relatives as partners. They also run a hospital rendering health care to the needy.
