Indianapolis Motor Speedway houses the 500-Mile racing track and Brickyard 400. It is there since 1909. The surface is constructed of brick and asphalt. The seating capacity of the arena is over 257325 people, making it the world's highest capacity stadium. The track extends about two and a half mile with nearly oval and rectangular dimensions. The inaugural USGP race attracted about 400,000 spectators. In 2008, the track even added Indianapolis motorcycle Grand Prix event. Major events like IZOD IndyCar Series, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and FIM MotoGP had taken place in the world-class racing track. The track even hosts several renowned Formula One racing events.
