Jennie-O is the brand name for Turkey products. Now it operates as the subsidiary of Hormel Foods Corporation. It had been founded in the year 1940 by Earl B. Olson when he stood up in raising Turkeys. He had bought former "Farmers Produce Company" from Wilmar as well as Turkey processing plants. He renamed the company after his daughter Jennifer Olson as Jennie-O. Since then the company began to expand by internal growth and purchase of processing companies over the years. It had been known widely to produce Turkey products that adopted other meats like Turkey ham, Turkey hot dogs, Turkey pastrami etc.
