The restaurant started as a pizzeria style then evolved to a sport themed restaurant with many televisions. In 1995, micro brewed beer complimented the existing restaurant. This gave a perfect bend to its main product pizza. In 2004, Oggis Pizza and Brewing Company were named as the Champion Small Brewing Company during the World Beer Cup. The company has 15 franchised stores in United States.
