Today an acquaintance of my husband took his family to Texas Roadhouse in Davenport to eat. Because their son is wheelchair bound due to a degenerative disease that has no cure, they went early so they could miss the busy dinner rush. When they got there the place was practically empty, but when the hostess saw their son, she told them they weren't really "set up" for wheelchairs and that they would have to wait. Not wanting to make a scene they waited for an hour, all the while watching group after group come in and get seated right away. When the Dad finally got angry and let the hostess know how upset they were and how unfair the situation was, they were kicked out. Seriously, this crap happens at a place like Texas Roadhouse in this day and age?!?! That family has been through so much and will likely lose their son to this disease, that it breaks my heart to know that there are such mean spirited and cold hearted people out there treating them like they are a "problem" and not as worthy as others.

I really hope the story about the family with a child in a wheelchair being denied service and kicked out of the store is isolated and delt with swiftly.

I wish I could give zero stars. Your Davenport, IA location has disgusted me beyond belief with the poor treatment of its customers! I won't ever eat at a Texas Roadhouse again. Oh, and you might want to pay attention because Facebook is blowing up with people re-posting and talking about this matter. A couple of tv/radio stations have been contacted, as well. So get it together or just go out of business already!

I have never written a formal complaint to an orgainization for myself or family but I have to say that Texas Road House has treated not only my daughter but others who work for them with disrespect and uses them for every penny possible. She really needs this job so doesn't say much but she has gone home in frustration and disappointment. Not to mention as a server they don't deserve the treatment they get by those they serve. I am sorry and I am sure that Road House has many positive points. We have eaten there and the food is okay.

We stopped at the Texas Roadhouse in Peoria, AZ, 16079 North Arrowhead Fountains Center Drive, and were surprised to learn it's their policy not to give you back the change portion of your change. I asked the manager about it and she said we would have to go to the bar to get it. We had waited 45 minutes to be seated, 30 minutes to receive our food, and 10 minutes for our check to be brought, We did NOT want to wait in line to receive our coin change. If this is your policy, who gets the unclaimed change and how is it taxed? In a year's time this adds up to a lot of money. I would like to know if this is corporate policy.

I am an employee who is trying to get a hold of someone in the corporate office. I have been on disability for only a few days now. Why is your line always busy? Also why can't my boss help me out?

While travel last Sunday we stopped at Texas Roadhouse in Palm Bay Florida. Since we had never been there before our server john made recommendations. I was having a tooth problem and John was so patient, friendly, professional and really made us have a great dining experience. Before we left the manager, just as friendly and HAPPY to be there, thanked us for coming in and gave us each a bag of peanuts to go with appetizer coupon attached. WOW!! I have been in the biz my whole life and was really Impressed. Kudos to the Team!!! Great Job!!

We have been to your local Texas restaurant three times now and last night was our last! The first time it was fine. Second time we witnessed the bartender having an attitude with a customer. The third time a different bartender had an attitude with us! It started when I ordered a drink, Captain and coke with a lime, asked the bartender to make sure the pop was not flat. We had problems the last times we went there, heard some lame excuse from the manager and heard the same lame excuse this time. She got cocky with me stating "she got it out of the back. Then went to get more coke, showed me that it was not flat and stated she just wanted to make sure I saw it. It was her whole demeanor, attitude that set me off! Honestly if I order a drink with soda in it I don't expect it to be flat. That does nothing for the drink! I finished my drink she made with the soda that was not flat half way through my dinner and sat my glass aside, figuring one of the bartenders would come ask me if I would like another one. Sat there for 10-15 minutes and neither bartender asked me if I would like another one. After another 10 minutes or so the one with the attitude finally asked me, after I hesitated for a few seconds I declined! A good bartender will not let your drink set there empty. I declined hoping she would ask me if I wanted something else to drink, and nothing! Both these bartenders are the same ones that have been working each time we go there. They are like robots, only asking what they are suppose to, they have zero personality, don't smile very much and are just rather cold. I am sorry but if you are in the customer service profession than act like it! We will not go back and will be writing to corporate about this situation. We are usually fairly good tippers and these girls did not get one cent from us!
