Advance Auto Parts is the 2nd largest retailer of automotive accessories and replacement parts in the US. The company is also known as AAP and it started its journey in the year 1932. Record says that in 2011 the company earned sale's amount of near about 6.12 billion US dollars. They now operate more than 3800 stores in near about forty states of the US. At present, more than 55,000 employees (Full-time) are working with the company. In the year 2005, the company acquired another popular organization that is Auto Part international. At that time,this organization was operating near about 202 stores within the Atlantic Seaboard region.

    STORE #6567 IN HARRISBURG NC TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS LIKE THAY ARE DUMB ASSES WENT TODAY ASK FOR TRANSMISSION COOLER FLUSH TRYED TO SELL ME MOTER FLUSH TOLD THEM WHAT KIND OF CAN IT WAS THEN THAY TRYED TO GIVE ME TRANS. FIX. THAY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO TELL THEM WHAT I WANTED. COUNTER SALES MAN ASK JEFF THE SO CALLED MANAGER HE TOLD THE GUY TO CALL A TRANSMISSION REPAIR SHOP TO SEE WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT ALL HE CARED ABOUT WAS HIS HAMBURGER HE WAS EATING.. THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER SEEN I AM AN ASE CERT. MECHINAC FOR 25 YEARS AND THAY ACT LIKE YOU ARE STUPID WORST STORE EVER SALES PEOPLE DO NOT CARE. SO I WENT TO OREILLY'S AND THAY HAD WHAT I NEEDED TOLD THE GUY AND HE WENT RIGHT TO IT. IF ADVANCE DOES NOT HIRE EMPLOYEES WHO CARES FOR THERE CUSTOMERS THEN THAY NEED TO CLOSE THE STORE THAY NEED TO TELL THERE EMPLOYEES THAT THE CUTOMERS IS WHAT MAKES THERE PAYCHECK..

    I went in to the only Midland Mi. location and the first day the female who waited on me did not have a mask on, the next day, today, the so called manager did not have a mask on, and he threw me out after I told them both to wear one. Unprofessional anti maskers.

    9-19 at or around 3:15 store #9370 located in Bessemer al. 35020 1500 9th avenue N the manager refused to wear mask stating that he was behind the counter yet less than 2’ from a customer with no divider between them

    I have purchased Batteries several times that were DEAD when I got them, appeared to be over a year old at the time I purchased them, They always replaced them but it was a PIA for me each time, I have NEVER received the gift cards I should have received for my online purchases, so unless i can use a coupon code and save A LOT on a purchase, it's just not worth it dealing with them,

    This is a message of commendation for your manager, Nathan, of store #1267 in Hanover, Pa. I had bought new wiper blades for my car, and had declined the offer to install them. I thought it would be a quick job, so I left. Somehow, I didn't get around to the job for months, but when I did, simple wasn't "simple" any more..I couldn't figure out how to remove them. Feeling like a boob, I went back to Advance to ask for help. A gentleman by the name of Nathan, cheerfully stated that he would be glad to install them for me. He took a trainee with him to take advantage of a training opportunity, demonstrating to her how they were installed. Nathan explained to me that I shouldn't feel badly about not knowing how to install the wiper blades, because the mechanisms changed frequently. I soon out that Nathan was in fact the manager. His manner was engaging, welcoming and relaxed, but also very professional.You have a rare gem in this gentleman. Kudos to you! Raymond A Wenzel Hanover, Pa.

    I went to the advance auto store on 343 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473 spoke with a guy name JAY asked him if he could take a look at window shield wipers on my car because I had just bought them about three weeks ago at the store on Washington Ave. and I was already hearing noises from the blades when it rained and since this store installed the blades I thought perhaps the blades were put on wrong or something was wrong. Jay seemed to have an attitude with everyone who entered the store. He didn't want to help a young lady with her key battery that day a customer had to help her because Jay didn't want to do anything but hang out in the back area and let his coworkers ring up sales for all the other customers. Anyway when he did come out to my car to look at the blades he says in front of other customers standing outside my car blades were FILTHY and that is why I was getting the noise from my blades. Number one I wash my car every week so my entire car get clean and it just so happened that I had washed my car three hours prior to visiting the store so my car was not "FILTHY" and how dare you talk to a paying customer like that anyway. If he don't want to work then he needs to look for something else because ever since that day I have not wanted to go to this store just because of his bad behavior. Management needs to look into people like this before hiring lazy people. I usually buy a lot of things from Advance auto brakes, rotors, whatever I need but I would rather not patronized the store with people like JAY working there.

    I recently was placing an order on the Advance Auto Parts website. When it got to the 3rd item on my order list, the item was not shown in stock at the store that I go to. This meant that I would either had to drive quite a distance to pick up the third item after I went to the store for the other items, or I could have that item shipped to me but not to the store. I went to their chat service, explained my problem after a significant delay on their part. I could paste the whole chat, but suffice it to say, they also wasted my time with such poor service. I contacted customer service and pasted the chat. They did not get the point and did not realize how lousy their service(haha) was. I did not complete the order.

    ON 8/19/2013 I WENT ADVANCE AUTO STORE#09564 A YOUNG NAME STEVE VAZQUE. ASKED ME CAN I HELP YOU I SAID YES I NEEDED BRAKES FOR A 2007 PT CRUISER, HE LOOKED UP THE INFO AND TOLD ME WHAT I NEEDED, THEN WENT OUT TO MAKE SURE THE INFO WAS RIGHT. AT FIRST THE INFO WAS NOT RIGHT. THEN LOOKED UP AGAIN AND GOT THE RIGHT INFO. HE WAS SO PLEASANT TO TALK TO AND WITH A SMILE. I TALK TO TO THE MANAGER AND TOLD HER ABOUT THE GREAT SERVICE STEVE GAVE ME. THIS IS MY PART STORE FROM NOW ON.
