    I have worked with belk through Golden Touch Imports Inc since I was a employee of Golden Touch. Belk order is very fair. Most of the Bangladeshi manufacturer wants to do belk order.they exported nicely and I have followed up factories. I have enjoyed to do my job with Belkorder. Now I am in new company.     I am a belk employee in Rome, georgia and our store manager treats all the employees like crap. Today he yelled at me two different times and once in front of customers. I cried because I know there is nothing I can do. Even if I tell cooperate they will not do a thing. I need this job because I am a new mother. I love the employees but the manager needs to go!

    I wish the buyers for the N.C. stores were the buyers for the S.C. stores. Seems the stores in North Carolina have a much better selection than the ones in South Carolina. The Haywood Mall Store never have a good selection of shoes in size 11 but while I was in Morehead City, which is a much small store, they had many. I bought 3 pairs and my sister bought 7. So how about getting up to date here in the southern carolinas. You need to hire better buyers for us, please.

    I have to agree with Kim I have personally had my shares of being tormented and bullied by managers. We, as the employees, show up to do our job and we get harassed! I can not even leave my department or go on lunch without being paged. The managers here are lazy and don't want to do their jobs especially when another employee calls out! I'm sick and tired of these so called managers who know nothing about how to run a true retail store! I can't wait to not be working Black Friday this year! I will miss the 12 hour shift and only 30 minute lunch break!

    Then New store mgr in Sherman Texas is horrible. No personality but STAnd in store not workinf keeiing trouble with employees . Customers dread her. She is for sure mesery lives company. Where did the great mgr. Julie go? :(

    As reviewer Kim said management is allowed to mistreat their employees in front of customers and behind the scenes. For the most part these employees are not kids. There are older ladies, retirees, moms, grandmothers getting yelled at and humiliated in front of the people they are helping. I have been witness to this. It's hurtful to the employees and to us the customer. Deland, fl Belk is forever off my places to shop. at least until they remove that giant bully from running the store.

    I would never give any company a positive rating no matter what they sell and at what cost, when they allow their employees to be bullied by management, and allows no real chain of command. Belks offers their employees an employee hotline that never receives a response. Threats and constant unprofessionalsism from management seems to be the norm at belks. I apply that statement to all of Belk because of the lack of response to the employee hotline inquiries. It seems as if Wal-mart's way of doing business is becoming the norm.

    We always use Belk for many items' we love your stores. We have had the pleasure of working with a sales person; Linda Rice, Winston Salem Belk. What a true asset to Belk!
