I was appalled to hear about the situation in Davenport, IA where a family with a disabled child was discriminated against by the waitress and staff. As long as your company encourages this type of discrimination, I will not, nor will I recommend others patronize your restaurant. Fire that staff and apologize to the family. Right now, this story is making it's way around Facebook and we will make sure this is publicized in every way possible.

The way your staff treated a handicapped child and his family at the Davenport, IA restaurant was shameful, immoral, unjust and quite possibly illegal according to the ada act. You should cease operations there.

After reading the following story; you can be assured my weekly visit to your establishment , locally, will be cancelled. Kim Rigby McLaughlin 6 hours ago Today an acquaintance of my husband took his family to Texas Roadhouse in Davenport to eat. Because their son is wheelchair bound due to a degenerative disease that has no cure, they went early so they could miss the busy dinner rush. When they got there the place was practically empty, but when the hostess saw their son, she told them they weren't really "set up" for wheelchairs and that they would have to wait. Not wanting to make a scene they waited for an hour, all the while watching group after group come in and get seated right away. When the Dad finally got angry and let the hostess know how upset they were and how unfair the situation was, they were kicked out. Seriously, this crap happens at a place like Texas Roadhouse in this day and age?!?! That family has been through so much and will likely lose their son to this disease, that it breaks my heart to know that there are such mean spirited and cold hearted people out there treating them like they are a "problem" and not as worthy as others.

I find that your service for people with disabilities is daunting and disgusting. You should treat every guest that walks or wheels in the same. We live in a equality America, please stop trampling on rights of the diabled people. I NEVER EAT AT YOUR RESTURANT AGAIN AND I WILL FORM A GROUP AND PROTEST OUTSIDE YOUR DOORS. PEORIA, Il.

I have heard the story of a boy in a wheelchair that your establishment in Davenport refused to serve. You people disgust me. I have never eaten at the Roadhouse and now I NEVER will. You owe a public apology to this young man and his family. Its never too late to make things right. OWn up to this horrible mistake you have made. That family deserved seating for him just as much as anyone else does. I have been in this industry for a very long time. And I go above and beyond the call when someone is in need of extra service! Shame on everyone at the Davenport Texas Roadhouse! How do you sleep at night? You suck for mistreating that family!

I stopped going to your restaurant because the food has gone downhill, I make a better steak. Then I read how you discriminated against a family with a child in a wheelchair! You wouldn't seat them for over an hour because your restaurant isn't set up for wheelchairs!!! And then asked them to leave when they got upset. Ridiculous! Don't expect a single penny from me....ever!

I am ashamed to say I have recently eaten at this exact RoadHouse and I am embarrassed for you. You should be ashamed not me. If I could give you negative stars, I would give you as many possible.

The Davenport Texas Roadhouse is appalling. Someone really needs to go in and investigate their customer service. As someone in the restaurant industry it was absolutely terrible seeing this family treated the way they were. This family had a child in a wheelchair and the "host" or whoever the heck it was said they were not "set up" for wheelchairs and made this family wait. This family had to sit there and watch as others got sat before them. Please, send one of your corporate inspectors, and see what's really going on there. I will not be back
