My three year contract with ADT has been nothing but a nightmare. From day to day not sure if the system is even going to work. Have had the system replaced three times. The disrespectful and rue service people proved to me that ADT doesn't not care about it's customers. I have wasted $1599.68 on this service, and will never receive an apology for such poor service. December 2, 2020 cannot come soon enough! Tired of the run around and abysmal service. One fine example is this past June 2020 (entire month), system was unplugged, got an email in July that my system was operating. Strange I know, shows you how abysmal your service can be! Sorry ADT You are the worst!!!

Our ADT monthly bill increased every few month despite the assurance it would not. Once my contract expired, I called to CANCEL services. I was on hold for OVER AN HOUR so I finally hung up! I called a few days later SAME RIDICULOUS hold time but this time when the call was about to connect to someone they disconnected!! I even called their number for a quote but was told they could not transfer me to the cancellation department. I went on the ADT website and LOGGED INTO MY ACCOUNT and saw NOTHING that led to the cancellation department. Finally I told my credit card company NOT to accept charges from them since I tried to reach them and I SWITCHED security companies. After two months ADTs billing department called and explained THE ONLY WAY TO CANCEL is to speak to the cancellation department and I would just have to hold on until they picked up!! REALLY LADY??! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH ADT!! You are dealing with the DEVIL!!

ADT customer service is absolutely horrific and their authorized provider, Defenders, Inc, is worse than ADT. Defenders, Inc technician installed the wrong security system package, poor response and doesn't return calls, waits until 3 days cancellation period past which locks customers into a 3 year contract with the wrong product and horrible service. Don't purchase ADT and their providers are scammers!

I recently purchased a house with an ADT security system installed in it. The former owner is 85 and does not remember his access codes. Even after the former owner, who had the system installed and paid monitoring fees for many years, called ADT to give them permission to relinquish his access codes to me they say that the only way they will help me is if I sign a three year monitoring contract! ADT has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with, including cable companies! They will lie to you and try to extort money you do not owe them. When you catch them in a lie they just hang up on you! They have TERRIBLE customer reviews with numerous reports of double billing and terrible technical support. They have been sued over they exorbitant cancellation fees and dirty contractual policies.

Very un happy with this deal through Protect your Home nothing was explained till tech jason vigo came to my home to install sys he was very truthfull with us try not to loose Jason he is very good
