A privately owned regional furniture store chain, Bob's Discount Furniture, LLC is associated with its business in the Northeastern region of the United States. The company has a very wide range covering more than forty stores in the regions of Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Rhode Island and Maine. They are even planning to come up with a number of new stores in 2013. The first discount furniture store under the chain was inaugurated in the region of Newington, Connecticut in 1991. Primarily, they are Manchester-based chain of furniture stores. The name is given after the president, Bob Kaufman.

    i ordered a couch a month and a half ago and still have not received it. i was promised it 2 weeks after the date of purchase. i have called multiple times and each time i get a new delivery date promised, just to have that promise broken. Bobs furniture takes your money and does not give you the products you purchase. go to MOR furniture or Ashley, they always follow through as promised.

    Worst company ever. Don't bother wasting your money on goof proof plans. They will find a way around it. Techs and Customer Service do not even attempt to help you out. Phony facade.

    Stay away from buying furniture with this company. They lie about shipment. You can never reach anyone concerning questions.

    The sales associate Earl on 117th was a complete pleasure to deal with. However navigating your phone system, with endless loops trying to reach a sales associate and or a customer service representative regarding a delivery,issue with the delivery experience with a damaged piece of furniture is deplorable. Even during a pandemic with staff working from home phone lines should be answered, you should at the very least be able to leave a message or submit a request for a call back. Lastly when emailing the Bobs store on 117th you get an automatic response that the mailbox is full. This is also extremely frustrating. When using the "online chat" you get extremely long wait times, horrible customer service responses. just a bunch of apologies but no solutions. I will never recommend Bobs again!

    I paid $480 for a bed cash, and only got a box spring and a frame, and the delivery guy told me the mattress wouldn't be delivered until two weeks later. I felt that if they took my money all at the same time, that at least they could give me a whole bed. Im still sleeping on the floor staring at a box that's taking up all the room. I'm not NEVER EVER NEVER shopping there again. My co-worker was going to get furniture (a houseful) and changed her mind after she saw what they did to me. This is bad business Bob. Im calling my local news channel next to tell them what a bad deal I received from a puppet. It seems like they are pulling all the strings and I got the shaft on this one. You probably don't care and want to blame it on Covid, so I gave you a five star rating because you're the best at giving people the worst deals. You know what they say, fool me once, SHAME ON YOU!

    If it were possible to give one star, I would! On 8/26/2020 I purchased a bedroom set through a Bobs Sales Rep on the phone. I was assured my bedroom set would arrive on 9/3/2020, if I made full payment that day. I paid $200 though my card by phone and rushed to my CU and obtained a Official Check for the balance of over $1600 and rushed that amount to a Bobs Store paying the full balance due. I moved on 9/1/2020 and received a call stating that my expected delivery would be delayed. When I called, I was told that most of my bedroom set would arrive, not 9/3 as expected, but early October and with the chest of drawers arriving the first week in November. I was told that sales provides the delivery date, but not until the items are to be pulled from the warehouse do they notice its unavailability. If this is not ridiculous enough, now I must wait as long as 15 days (possibly 9/20/2020), to get my money back in a check to be mailed from corporate. It does not end there, try getting through to corporate. It is a endless loop of automated phone messages. I am furious, because not only did they not follow through by providing the product on 9/3/2020 as expected, but now I am stuck trying to get my money back so that I can purchase another set! I have never been so disappointed in what is supposed to be a major furniture company!

    Absolutely terrible! I waited over a month for my delivery and after receiving multiple phone calls changing the delivery due to back order, I requested a full refund!!

    GOOD MORNING, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT TYPE OF QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU REQUIRE TO HIGHER MANAGERS @ YOUR WALDORF MD. STORE? I WAS SCHEDULED TO HAVE MY FURNITURE DELIIVERED ON 7/27/ 2013, SINCE YOUR CALLS ARE MONITORED, HERES MY LOG OF THE LIES THAT WERE STATED FROM YOUR STAFF AND LAST CALL TO MANAGER ROBINSON, 3:00 PM., 4:00, 4:59, 5:59, 6:16, 7:30, 8:00, 8:21, 8:11, 8:21, 8:21 8:43; CLOSING COMMENTS FOR ROBINSON, STUFF HAPPENS AFTER BEING LIED TO AND BRUSHED OFF ALL DAY WITHOUT MY FURNINTURE.(7/28/2013) I RECIEVED A CALL FROM MY SALES LADY MS.
