Ability to speak to a customer service agent is abominable! You hold forever or leave a call back number and do not get return calls. Horrible customer Service!!!! Unable to reach corporate offices for help as well. Will have to go back to Home Depot where I can reah a live person for help!

Wednesday, August 28, 2013 my parent's (my father is 81 my mother is 76)refrigerator broke down. I told them there was an Appliance sale at Lowe's. I brought them to Lowe's in Raynham, MA that evening. After spending quite some time evaluating the refrigerators, they decided on one. The sign on this item said free next day delivery and haul away. At the time of purchase the sales person told us they had the refrigerator in stock , but it was too late at night to get the next day delivery and it would be delivered on Friday. My parents were fine with that. The sales person also told my parent's and I someone would call my parent's the night before the delivery to let them know what time to expect the delivery. The call about the delivery came early evening on Thursday, August 29, 2013 stating the item would be delivered between 2 pm and 4:30 pm on Friday, August 29, 2013. No one had shown up to deliver the refrigerator by 5pm; my mother decided to call Lowe's. She had to call several times before she got an answer. Finally when she was able to get through to someone in appliances she was told they (Lowe's) was having a problem with the contractor who was supposed to deliver the fridge, but they might be able to get it to her by 7:30 pm. She waited with no response and no refrigerator. She was so upset that she has not been able to eat and feels sick about the whole ordeal. She has company coming in from out of town and she has no refrigerator. Also, my father is a diabetic and needs insulin which needs to be refrigerated. My parent's have been living out of a cooler and purchasing ice blocks to keep their things cool. Where I work full time, I am not readily available to help out. I am very disgusted with the service and how they treat their customers. They have taken advantage of my parents who are elderly and I plan to write to the better business bureau.

Hello: My name is Joseph Chick, and I am formerly the Sales Specialist in Plumbing at store 0248. I am trying to contact Don McMichael, as to ask for my career back with Lowe's. I was unfortunately let go, because my abscences from the previous year caused me to go overboard by one in May of this year. He knows of my excellence to customer service and my continual top 25 regional performance. I beg you . sir, for my career back. I'm sorry I had to take care of my 2 yr old and have diabetes 2...I still have a 3 yr old, but have corrected the other, as it will not be an issue in the future. Please help a great salesman produce more for you and your company. Not only for you, but for my family. Let's Keep Improving... Respectfully, Joseph Chick Formerly with 0248, Medford, OR

We recently looked up a canopy online to confirm that our local store had what we were looking for. Online it says that you have 5 in stock. So, we proceeded to the store to find out after an hour of searching that one of them was the display and could not be sold. The other four in stock had been “promised” to other stores and also could not be sold. We were told that another store has it and we could pick it up there (60 miles away and in another state) or we could pay to have one shipped to our local store. As it was late in the day we said we would drive the 60 miles and pick it up the next day. We were then warned that they would not hold one for us unless we purchased it over the phone now. The following day we drove out to the other store and picked it up plus sales tax (that we do not have in our state). We got home and looked it up online again and there were still 3 available at our local store. That being said is Lowes so big now that it cares more about their own convenience than it does about customer service. It seems to me as a manager myself that I would have sold one that was in my store to the customer in front of me, and then asked the other store to hold or send one that was promised to another store. Out of 5 my ranking for your customer service is about a 2. Home Depot is a 4. Wal-Mart is a 3. Where would you shop?

On Monday, may 6, 2013, i went to your Portage, Indiana store #1778 and purchased a new gas drier to be delivered, installed and the old one to be removed and carried away. Sales#S1778LJ 1686372 Trans# 10882062 05-06-13. I requested the drier to be delivered on Saturday since I work Mon-Fri 8-5. Friday, May 10, 2013 at 9:30 PM I receive an automated call giving me my two hour delivery window for the next day...7-9 PM. If I had wanted the drier delivered in the middle of the night I would have had it delivered on Tuesday after I got off work. The time turned out to work for me since my best friend's brother was hospitalized in critical condition and she needed the moral support. I did leave her side to be home well before the scheduled delivery time of 7:00 PM. I arrived home at 6:00 PM, May 11, 2013, and there was a message on my home voice mail stating that they were going to deliver the drier earlier than planned. First once a delivery time is set you do not change the time unless you have the agreement of the other party, since I was not at home at the time of the call, you did not have my agreement. Second, when I called the number that was left on the message it went to voice mail I did leave a message to let them know that I was home waiting for the delivery of my drier. they never returned my call. At 7:00 PM no drier, at 8:00 PM no Drier, at 9:00 Still no drier. I emailed the Portage Store at 9:30 PM explaining the situation. I requested to be contacted by phone. When I had not heard from them by 10:15 AM 5-12-2013, I called the store requesting to speak to the manager. He could not be found. I left my name and phone number to be so he would call me back it is now 10:55 AM. I guess you don't have a manager in the store today, since I am still waiting. If the drier is not delivered and installed by 2:00 PM today, by 2:05 I will be in my vehicle driving to Lowe's for a full refund, And I will take my money to either Sears which is next door to your Portage store or Menards which is across the street. I can not say it has been a pleasure doing business with you.

I have been trying to order a lawn tractor from Lowes online for 24 hours. Evidently, their website has been flagged from fraud alerts by Visa. Their website pretty much sucks. There is no message that tells me that a transaction has been declined. It just blanks out the fields and stops. I also had an incorrect phone number because I entered the dashes. THe form doesn't accept dashes, but hte page never tells you. You have to figure it out. Then I called the store in Fayetteville, GA to try to order the lawn tractor. Another whole set of poor customer service process. Whoever heard of a customer calling a company wanting to spend a large sum of money, and two customer service persons aren't able to close a sale. I had to give my phone number and they'll call me back because someone else is using the terminal that they need. Is this 1975? Maybe it is for Lowes, not other online technology savvy merchants. If this tractor wasn't $150 cheaper at Lowes, I'd be a Sears or Home Depot by now. I'll remember this on my next purchasing choice.
