9/23/20 Irving TX belt line road......after 35 years divorcing. age 69 retired. came in for cleaning, knew gums were inflamed from brushing that morning, after hygienist was told by MD needed deep cleaning to the tune of a 1000$, told could not afford, suggested cleaning now and recheck in 2 months, ABSOLUTELY NO COMPROMISE his way or no way, didn't even review my past history. Had a deep cleaning 8 years ago and was a total rip off to the tune of 650$ and a hygienist did it, no one is worth 600$ for one hour worth of work, that is like paying a surgeon to do a job and the PA does the actual work. In a time of tight money this MD was only out to line the pockets and not care of the circumstances of the patient. SOME CARE IS BETTER THAN NO CARE, and as one gets older the gums of teeth recede, that is a fact of getting older, period. When a medical professional NEVER LISTENS THEN ITS TIME FOR CHANGE. And by the way I drove in a 100 miles because I moved and wanted to keep my same staff, this guy was new and did not know me or my history of the past and didn't care either
