The company however is said to be founded in the year 1914, in the region of Somerville, Massachusetts. Family of Rabinowitz established it as Economy Grocery Stores Company. By the year 1946, the company was able to set up another eighty-six supermarkets. It was then renamed as Stop & Shop, Inc, following official norms.

I'm on hold, I've been on hold 7 minutes, I am a former employee try to locate my last check, I called the Store directly 4 times put on hold 3 xs for 5 minutes, finally I'm transferred to CSR she transfers me back to the Solution center, I finally get 2 numbers 800-767-7772 and 800-453-7467 and the get a message there is currently no one in front of me, but still no one answers.
