The company started branding their items in 1979 and started providing basic products at lesser price, as compared to the national brands. Later on, the company began expanding health and organic product lines. It offers 70,000 items or more in cheese shops and store cafes along with 300 varieties in French-style pastry stores and sub shops. In addition, the company is renowned owing to its unique training program and cooking classes for employees.

I frequent grocery stores all over The United States and Wegman's Food Markets, Inc. by far surpasses each and every one of them, in my opinion. The produce, by far, is the best. You want to know why? Well, it is because of the American farms that produce it all. Green Smoothies are the best, and keeps the body is excellent health the natural way. I sure hope the next new store is in Charlotte, North Carolina ! OMG, the town is booming and we need a Wegman's Food Market there soon! Plenty of Land to build......

I was a former shopper of WEGMANS, Titus Avenue in Rochester, until 24 August 2013; what a NASTY and HORRIBLE company; I am a good Christian should not wish anytime of horrible wishes upon people, but this company deserves to be wished for horrible things to happen to them ALL...

PLEASE, PLEASE CONSIDER BUILDING A STORE IN CLARKE COUNTY VIRGINIA. WE HAVE ONLY ONE GROCERY STORE. THIS COUNTY IS HUGE WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO COME HERE. I WAS AT A MEETING WITH DELIGATE JOE MAYS AND BROUGHT THIS UP AND I WAS GIVIN A HUGE APPLAUSE.
