STEPS has been established in 1983 by a members group about concerned citizens and serves community requirements. It is a non-profit and private company offering training and development of jobs for people with disabilities as well as TANF recipients leading to employment outcome. Such outcomes usually start from jobs with any of their facilities till working into unsubsidized community jobs. It is neither operated by local community services board, operational funds from Federal or State Govt. Their services help disabled people and TANF recipients capable of making them as tax payers of local communities. It is a certified organization by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities or CARF.
