Young Men's Christian Association, which is referred as YMCA, is an organization that works mainly to spread the Christian faith worldwide. It was established with the purpose to increase youth power while teaching them Christian beliefs. In America, the first YMCA office was established in 1851 in Montreal, Canada and in the US Thomas Sullivan established it first in the year 1851. Initially, YMCA had camps for boys only but later the authority established camps for girls as well. During First World War, the YMCA association raised more than $155,000,000 for the welfare efforts of the American soldiers.
