Wawa Inc. is the chain of gas stations and convenience stores, which is located in the East Coast of the US. The store operates in different US states like New Jersey, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and in Florida as well. Corporate headquarters of the company is situated in Wawa region of Greater Philadelphia, Chester Heights and Pennsylvania. According to 2002 and 2008 record, this is one of the largest chains of convenience store in the US. In addition, Wawa is the 3rd largest food retailer in Philadelphia region after Shop Rite and popular Acme Market. In 2008, Wawa stores started business in South Jersey along with New Jersey.

    Back on August 12, 2013 Wawa raised coffee prices. It was advertised for a couple of weeks prior that refills would be raised .04 cents for refills, and paper cups .06 cents. It was right there on the coffee islands for all to see. Now you're charging the .06 cent price increase for refills. With all you make are times that bad that for you that you decide to charge the 6 cnts cost for refills... unannounced. For the past 8 years I used to be a daily customer buying my coffee at Wawa. Well, you've lost my business until you make things right. 2 cents might not seem like much to you Wawa, but for the amount of daily customers that's a lot of money you're stealing. Sounds like corporate greed to me. Maybe a complaint to the Better Business Bureau is needed. For us retired people that don't get raises like working people do, pennies do add up rather quickly. Beside that, if the economy is so bad, why does everyone have to raise prices? I now get my coffee refill at 7-11 for a buck because of your policy, with my Wawa refill cup. I hope more people read this and do business some other place like I do. You see, I don't get mad; I get even.... or ahead of the problem.

    Bought carton of cigarettes on Saturday morning. Discovered I received wrong ones on Sunday. Took back 9 packs to correct problem.They refused to make exchange.This was their error. Refused to correct.

    I just came back from buying coffee at a Wawa in Clifton Heights. PA I shop at this store almost every day for coffee. Today was the worst. I came home to enjoy my supposedly fresh cup of coffee and I swallowed a bunch of coffee grinds from the coffee. I choked for 1 minute; that is how many coffee grinds were in this cup. This has happened to me a few times in the past at different local Wawa stores, but this was the worst. It seems like no one at the Wawa stores like making the coffee and cleaning the pots properly. If this was my company, I would definitely send the word out to all stores to make sure the coffee pots are cleaned properly.

    I am totally disappointed that you would sponsor the Fireworks on the Fourth of July, 2013 with not one patriotic song..... If you wanted to sponsor a party for the people of Philadelphia, why do it on the 4th of July.... one big party on our Independence Day and not one patriot there! Including the sponsor!!!

    I was at the wawa location on airport rd in Delaware i observed racial type discrimination from i believe was the head manager i over heared her say that "if shes with that man ill cut her hrs i dnt believe in interracial relationships" as a black man i took offense to that so i asked an associate does she always say things like that. The young lady says to me with her head down. I cant say anything so what is goin on in ur branch there. I also work in customer service there is no reason why the employees there should feel as tho they should defend someone that is wrong.

    Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this review. I am a employee of Wawa store # 72. Today I had the pleasure of working at store 152 in King of Prussia. I am concerned about the cleanliness of this store. I thought perhaps we could get some associates to volunteer their time to clean and organize it. I hope you will take the time to look into this. In closing I would also like to say the employees there are hard working associates. They go above their job duties. I am willing to work on this store when given the opportunity. I love working with Wawa and take pride in the appearance and customer service in each and every store.

    I have been using the convenience of Wawa for more then 25 years now. But have been most turn off by the new change dispenser’s I’m in line waiting to pay for my purchases, the person in front of me is coughing clearly not well wiping their nose with their hand reaching for the change that just was dispensed. I work in the heath care and try on a daily bases to remind staff the importance of precautions in spreading harmful bacteria. With just finishing a staff training on the procedures to prevent the spread of "C. diff which is a serious infection C. difficile bacteria are passed and spread to food, surfaces and objects when people who are infected don't wash their hands thoroughly. The bacteria produce hardy spores that can persist in a room for weeks or months. If you touch a surface contaminated with C. difficile, you may then unknowingly ingest the bacteria.. I’m not naive to the fact that money is full of bacteria But to now reach for my own change which was just dispensed made think I should drive a few blocks in the future to the 7 eleven.     I am only posting a worst star for the quality of the coffee cups. The cups are leaking coffee within a 2hr-3hr span or the sides are splitting open. I tried to call corporate and the phone rang and rang after the main recording came on waiting for an operator to pick up. I go to the Wawa in Tropper, PA and have had coffee explode all over me numerous times because the cups are poor quality. Wawa needs to upgrade to the type of cups used by Dunkin Donuts-styrofoam. The people are great that work there.

    04/21/2013, More or less a complaint than a review!!Today Sunday 04/20/2013 at exactly 1.51pm. as indicated on my receipt #1942979.. I ordered two "Prime RIB Bowl"and the attendant completed my order and placed the entire order on the counter and said "here take it!" I politely asked.. Mame, do you expect me to carry this two bowls out of here without any container or back? Her response shocked me.. "Oh!! I don't know, we are out of bags!!".. I requested to see the Manager who shows up and said.. We are out of bags.. I asked the Manager, "How would corporate feel to hear that a paying customer walks of their purchase, because you cannot find a bag to bag their purchase? The moral to this comment, is Wawa, has extremely good carry out food that other fast foods restaurants do not have... Mcdonald, KfC, Burger king!!... My office love Wawa's Prime RIB BOWL..Any time I visit Wawa, I alway buy three or more for my co-workers and we all love it!! Why would an establishment like Wawa, Inc, not have the common decency to train their Prime staff, the Manager on how to communicate with Paying Customer!!... This experience will never stop me from visiting Wawa, I highly recommend that Wawa, re-evaluate how they train their staff on customer relations! It is not what you say to customer that matters, its taking care of a simple request... Madam, can I have a bag to carry two bowl of prime rib so it does not spill all over my vehicle??? and saying!! "Oh!! well, we are out of bags" does not cut it for me... Inspecting and reporting how customers are treated should be a prime concern to the entire managment from corporate office to the store level.
